CHAPTER BYLAWS

 

SECTION I  - Chapter Address

The mailing address of the chapter shall be that of the Treasurer.
The chapter website is www.royalgtos.com

SECTION II – Duties of the Officers

  • PRESIDENT: The President shall preside at all  meetings, and shall be the chief executive of the club.  He/she shall have general supervision over the development of its entire program.  He/she shall make all committee appointments subject to approval of the Board of Directors.

 

  • VICE PRESIDENT: The Vice President(s) shall perform  the duties of  the President in his/her absence, and perform other duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors.

 

  • HISTORIAN:  The Historian shall keep the minutes of the meetings and maintain a file of reports, a file of correspondence, and maintain an up-to-date record of  any business of the Chapter.

 

  • TREASURER: The Treasurer shall be responsible for the collection and disbursement of all funds for the Chapter, and will maintain a financial record regarding the Chapter’s receipts and expenditures.

SECTION III – Meetings

  • Membership meetings shall be held on the second Tuesday of even-numbered months at a time and location as designated by the President.

 

  • Board of Directors’ meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of odd-numbered months, if required by the President.

 

  • Special meetings of the Chapter can be held on the special call of the President.  

SECTION IV – Elections

  • It is understood that all Officers and Board Members shall serve without remuneration.

 

  • President, Vice President(s) and Board Members will serve on a rotational basis for a period of two years. Example; President serves for two years, Vice President moves to President and appoints a new Board Member to start at the bottom of the rotation.

 

  • Newsletter Editor, Historian and Treasurer remain in their positions.  

SECTION V – Committees

 Committees shall be appointed by the President, as outlined in Section II (a).  

SECTION VI – Amendments

The by-laws may be amended by a majority vote, at any regularly scheduled Chapter meeting.
